Stacey Robbins

Stacey is a Strategic Research Partner at Springpoint Partners.  As a doctoral student in the Adult Learning and Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University, she explores how entrepreneurial teams learn and develop innovative solutions to business challenges and brings this expertise to her role as a career and leadership coach.  Stacey and Springpoint Partner, Avina Gupta, also write and present on women’s leadership development through the lenses of transformative learning theory.

Stacey began her career as a high school teacher in high needs schools, where she created challenging learning environments while scaffolding students with the motivation and tools to succeed.  She later worked as a consultant supporting teachers in their work with non-readers of all ages.  Here she found her passion for engaging with adult learners in their quest for self-understanding, achievement and personal growth.  Stacey has worked on complex problems with diverse organizations including the Police Department in Ann Arbor, Michigan; the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill; social service agencies; and the NYC Department of Education.

Originally from Michigan, Stacey received a BA in English Literature from the University of Michigan, a MST in Education from Fordham University, an EdM in Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University and a certification in Executive and Organizational Coaching from Columbia University.  She likes nothing more than walking her dog on sunny days.
